2. Personal profile

B. Kan, Male, was born in 1982 in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. He received Ph.D. Degree in Mechanical Electronic Engineering in Jiangsu University in 2010, and currently is an associate professor in Changzhou University. His research interests include equipments for new energies, micro/nano fabrication and measurement, and nano-mechanics of low dimension materials. He is also engaged in teaching “Mechanical Measurement Technology” and “Foundation of Control Engineering” for undergraduates. He has been responsible for or participated in several research projects, including the NSFC and the 863 Program. He has coauthored more than 30 published research papers and applied for 14 patents. He was granted a Progress Award of Science and Technology nominated by China Machinery Industry Federation in 2011 and another one nominated by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association in 2013.
